Hot Sauce Planet

Hot Sauce Planet Logo It’s no secret that as a tailgater or just a fan of food in general, I love things hot and spicy. I like my chicken wings to have some kick to it. I typically will add hot sauce to chili to spice it up. So it is no wonder that I was ecstatic when the folks over at Hot Sauce Planet contacted me and offered to send me some samples. Even though they carry all kinds of Hot Sauce, I was hoping to sample some hot sauces I had never tried. They came through in a big way and sent me two kinds that I was quite impressed with.

The first one I tried was Dave’s Crazy Caribbean Hot Sauce. Registering a 7 out of 10 on the Hot Sauce Planet heat meter, I found it to be a really nice Hot Sauce for use on tacos or even in Cajun foods like Jambalaya and gumbo.

The other Hot Sauce I sampled was Bone Suckin’ BBQ Sauce. This one came in only a 2 out of 10 on the Hot Sauce Planet Heat Meter. Although it was not as hot as others, it was still really good. The combination of the tomato paste, honey, molasses, horseradish, lemon and smoke flavors made it a nice addition for a dipping sauce I used for grilled chicken.

I found the Hot Sauce Planet website to be very easy to navigate and easy to find new hot sauces I had never heard of. So if you are tired of the same old, same old hot sauces you find at your local grocery store, I would recommend taking a visit to Hot Sauce Planet and checking out their selection. To see all the hot sauces they offer or to learn more, visit: HotSaucePlanet.com. You can also follow them on Twitter: @HotSaucePlanet or on “like” them on Facebook.
