As you can see from the photo at left and those accompanying down below, Fan E Flag is a dual flag flying system that inserts into your 2″ or 1-1/4″ tow hitch and flies two flags behind your car. I was sent a sample Fan E Flag system and tested it out myself. I tried it a few times on the back of my Lincoln Navigator and took it up to full highways speeds in excess of 70 mph. (Honestly your honor, I needed to go that fast so I could fully test a new tailgating product in order to maintain my journalistic credibility.) The system held in place perfectly without any rattle and the flags withstood all that wind. Quite honestly, now that I have a Fan E Flag system, my old car window flags look like they may be headed to the donation center. Take a look at some other photos of the Fan E Flag system on display. Another cool thing about the Fan E Flag system is the versatility of the product. Most tailgating gear that uses your tow hitch receiver limits entry and access to your tailgate and SUV lift gate. Once parked, simply remove the flags and with a turn of a wing nut, rotate flag staffs down for tailgate entry and/or storage. In addition to that, you can turn the wing nut all the way and remove the flag staffs, add the ground base units and display your flags at your tailgating space.
The 2″ and 1-1/4″ Hitch FanEFlag Holder System is regularly $49.99 but they are currently running a 2010 football season special. The system is reduced to $39.96. Flags of your favorite team are sold separately but most flags cost $6.99 each. The different team flags available are too numerous to mention here but you can assume that most college and NFL teams are available.
