College football is crazy this season. By virtue of not having a playoff system, a team that did not play this weekend could easily be ranked No. 1 at the end of it. No. 3 Penn State was idle this week and the pollsters could leap frog them over No. 2 Alabama to the No. 1 spot because Texas lost to Texas Tech. We won’t know until the polls come out but it will sure ruffle some feathers no matter who is placed No. 1. One thing is for sure is that Michigan will not go bowling this year for the first time in a long time. I am sure Buckeye fans are loving that hire of Rich Rodriguez now.
