Tailgate parties prior to a concert or a game is the most prevalent form of tailgating you will find. With drive-in movie theaters pretty much extinct, tailgating prior to the movies is pretty hard to do. That is unless you are in Los Angeles and are a part of a cult following of drive-in movie goers. Check out the video metromix put together about tailgating at a modern day drive-in movie theater.
