Chicago Bears Ban On Ticketless Tailgaters The Focus On CLTV

In the wake of shortened tailgating times now in place at Qualcomm Stadium, Giants Stadium and now Candlestick Park in San Francisco, fans in Chicago are complaining they can’t tailgate after the game starts. Bears fans have not had their tailgating time cut before the games but there is an ordinance in place that tailgaters lingering in the parking lots around Soldier Field will be asked to go inside the game or vacate the parking lot.

Garrard McClendon, a host on the Chicago based CLTV station, recently devoted his entire show to taking the Bears management to task on this policy. It has surfaced on YouTube in three segments. Sit back and see what they are mad about out in the Windy City. Do they have a legitimate complaint in the wake of all of the reductions in tailgating time before the game at other stadiums?
