With the Presidential campaign in full swing, I typically have tried to remain neutral on expressing my political leanings or trying to pick off a few undecided voters to vote a particular way. Trying to remain politically neutral is extremely difficult seeing how I earned a bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. With that said, I have tried very hard to make it very difficult for the casual reader to try and pinpoint my party affiliation or my perceived support of a particular candidate.
The media reports that many voters are basing their decision to vote for a particular candidate based on one particular issue that directly affects them or is their top priority. A voter may be pro-life or pro-choice and is basing their vote solely on who shares their own opinion on that one particular issue and ignoring all other issues. Because tailgating is something I am passionate about and want to preserve, I am basing my choice for President solely on who I think will protect me and my passion for tailgating.
With that said, breaking with tradition we will officially endorse the Romney/Ryan ticket. Check out the photos of Paul Ryan tailgating prior to the Miami of Ohio vs. Ohio State game. Honestly, with a man that enjoys tailgating one step away from the Presidency, all tailgaters should vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket.
Who would you rather have in Washington D.C.? A dyed-in-the-wool tailgater who plays cornhole or a golfer?
