We’re already into January and that means the NCAA Football Bowl season is almost coming to a close. The folks at Cooper Tire ran a promotion this season called the Ultimate Bowl Tour where one lucky football fan along with three guests could win tickets and the VIP treatment to see five of the biggest college football bowl games. James Latham of Tishomingo, Oklahoma won the giveaway and has been wined and dined all over the country starting on New Year’s Day in Pasadena to see the Rose Bowl. He then went to Miami to see the Orange Bowl, New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and today was in Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. The trip rounds out with a stop in Arizona to catch the BCS Championship game between Auburn and Oregon.
The folks at Cooper Tire tagging along on for this tour have been documenting the trip with photos and videos. We asked them if they could share some of the tailgating action with us to pass along to our readers so they can live vicariously through this amazing experience.
Below is a quick gallery of shots taken outside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas for the Cotton Bowl. On a side note, anyone else find it ironic that the “Cotton Bowl” is not being played inside the Cotton Bowl?
