Since starting TailgatingIdeas.com in 2007 we have struggled with a bit of an identity crisis. Although we blog about tailgating and the tailgate party lifestyle we really don’t fit into a category or a niche when it comes to classifying what we do here. The closest category you could lump us into would be to consider us a sports blog. Even though we don’t write about the Ben Roethlisberger scandal, college football recruiting or even post pictures of European Soccer WAGs, I guess we are considered to be a sports blog. After all, most tailgating takes place prior to sporting events (although concert tailgating is gaining popularity by the day) normally. So because of this we were invited to become a member of the Yard Barker sports blog network.
