Remember back in June 2008 when we told you about The Beirstick? You know, the beer drinking contraption that looks like a huge medical syringe? Well, it looks like the Bierstick and other knock offs have found their way into the hands of tailgaters. Like that wasn’t going to happen.

I doubt I am spoiling it for anyone but Michael Phelps captured his eighth gold medal in a single Olympic Games in Bejing. I was one year old when Mark Spitz won seven gold medals in 1972. I never saw the man swim but seeing how it took over 35 years to break his record it is saying quite a bit. I am sure the nutrition and training levels today outpace those of 1972 but no matter how you slice it, Michael Phelps will probably go down in history as the greatest Olympian of all time.

You’ve seen the 12 Man Beer Bong and even the Flabongo. Now comes The Bierstick. At first glance it looks a lot like an over-sized syringe (Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens eat your heart out) and holds 24 ounces of beer. The concept is simple. Fill up the The Bierstick with two beers. Replace the mouthpiece and push out excess air. Place the plunger end against a solid surface. (like a girl only wearing a bra as the picture to the right suggests) Press down and consume at your own pace. Don’t have a hot girl wearing just a bra and panties at your disposal?
