Video: Nintendo Controlled Beer Pong Player

Posted by Dave On December - 18 - 2009

This was a student project put together by engineering students at the University of Michigan. The entire setup consists of an N8 Nintendo controller, a servo for side to side aiming, a stepper for variable strength throws, and an LCD display to show output power and instructions, all connected through an 32 port expansion board connected to a Xilinx prototyping board and a PPC 823.

If it weren’t enough that engineering students are thought to be humongous dorks to begin with, these guys had to go and automate the game of beer pong. Way to break the stereotype guys!
