As a friendly reminder to those of you who regularly visit this tailgating blog, for the next few days the updates on here may be a bit lacking. The reason being is that Dave will be out in Las Vegas attending the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show.

Both Wednesday and Thursday, Dave has been asked to be a guest speaker on panels that discuss social media and how tailgating retailers can effectively use it. That panel will be held on Wednesday. Thursday’s panel will focus on “How to use Tailgating as a marketing vehicle to bring traffic to retail stores”. Not only will we be appearing on those speakers panels but we will also use the time on the show floor to discover new tailgating gear, gadgets and hardware that will be the next big thing in tailgating.

As for finding the time to update this blog while we are in Vegas is still up in the air. Rest assured we will take plenty of photos and videos of products out on the show floor along with other things that would be of interest to tailgating nation. To make sure you are up to date on all the goings on out in Vegas, make sure to follow us on Twitter, @TailgatingIdeas. We will be live tweeting from the show floor, sharing photos and everything else as it happens. We will offer a full recap complete with videos and photos from Las Vegas after the show is over but if you can’t wait, Twitter is the best way to stay current.
