A Kegerator For the Booze Hound On The Go

Posted by Dave On June - 27 - 2008

Tow_Hitch_Kegerator1.jpgYou’re a drinker with places to go. You need to bring a lot of beer to the next tailgate but transporting 160 cans takes up too much room in your car. What if there was a fully self-contained kegerator with a sound system that rides outside your vehicle? That assuredly will make you the biggest bad ass at the tailgate party. Now you can fill your promotional stadium cups with ice cold beer straight from the back of your vehicle. It’s called the Party-A-Cargo and if you were wondering what to do with that pesky economic stimulus check, you can now pony up about three grand and spring for the standard model. A video of it in action is available below.

Getting a Party-A-Cargo tow hitch mounted kegerator accomplishes these four things:

  • Allows you to pour up to 160 ice cold keg beers all day long with only one keg and a 20-pound bag of ice. (Sorry Can Man, you’ll have to recycle someone else’s empties.)
  • You can play your music for up to 12 hours without using your vehicle’s battery. (Obviously the guys in the video recommend some AC/DC but you can play whatever you like.)
  • You’ll head into your game or concert without having to clean up empty beer cans or reload heavy and dirty coolers back into you vehicle. (The locking doors ensure nobody will steal your beer while you’re inside the venue either.)
  • More importantly, you’ll be the envy of every tailgater in the parking lot. (If you can’t round up some random poon with this on the back of your vehicle, you will probably remain celibate for the rest of your life.)

There are three different units available.

MailBag: Clarification on Party-A-CarGo

Posted by Dave On February - 24 - 2008

tailgating_ideas_mailbag.jpgApparently the guys over at Party-A-CarGo caught wind that we wrote an article about their tow hitch kegerator/entertainment unit. (If you are new here and don’t know what the hell I am talking about, read the Tow Hitch Mounted Kegerator article and watch the YouTube video to get up to speed.) A few days ago I got an email from one of the guys from Party-A-CarGo. He wanted to shed some light on his product and of course, offered up a little butt smooching to me for sending him some web hits. Rather than edit the original article I wrote about the Party-A-CarGo kegerator, I’ll post the entire email here for two reasons. No. 1: I need a good excuse to pop the cherry on this mailbag category. No. 2: The email sums all the facts up better than I can paraphrase. Read the rest of this entry »
