I’ll admit it. A few years ago I was calling for Joe Paterno to step down as head coach at Penn State claiming the modern game had passed him by. Then he had to go and string together a few winning seasons to the point where his Nittany Lions climbed all the way to No. 3 in the BCS standings this past week. Well, it all seems that the dream season has come crashing down with the last second loss to Iowa today. Was it the pink locker rooms at Kinnick Stadium that did it? Who knows. But now that the ride seems like it is over I feel kind of bad for JoePa. I guess that is why you play the whole season. Anyway, on with the links for the week.
