Weekend Wrap-Up #123: Kacie McDonnell Edition

You’re probably asking yourself, “Who’s Kacie McDonnell?”. Well, even if she was some random girl trying to break into modeling you would have to agree she deserves a spot in one of our link dump posts. She is not only deserving on looks alone but also is one of the hottest and newest WAGs (abbv: wives and girlfriends of athletes and celebrities) since last Thursday. That’s because Christian Ponder, the Florida State Quarterback, was drafted in the first round by the Minnesota Vikings. And because Kacie McDonnell is Christian Ponder’s girlfriend, she instantly became one of the hottest WAGs out there. So there you have it. Not only did Christian Ponder score big time by getting drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft but it appears he has already scored a few touchdowns in the hot girlfriend department. Road Trip This Week: Destination Arizona State

Look out Tempe, Ariz., the TailgatingIdeas.com staff a friend and I will be headed out to Packard Baseball Stadium this week for some baseball and tailgating. The Cal State Fullerton baseball team is taking on Arizona State in a two-game non-conference series match-up between two highly ranked programs. Fullerton entered this past weekend ranked No. 1 by Baseball America and Arizona State was ranked No. 3. This series could easily be a preview of two teams set for a collision course to meet again in Omaha, the home of the College World Series.

The great baseball in store for us aside, we are loading up the SUV, attaching the Freedom Grill FG-50 and packing the beer pong table, N-Ice Rack, The Beer Belts among other tailgating essentials and we will tailgate both games to the fullest extent. We already have a Tri-Tip marinating in some Stubb’s Beef Marinade and brats are coming with us too. Of course the beers will be icing down on the five hour drive from So Cal so they will nice and cold by the time we park and set up.

Seeing how this is our first time out to Packard Stadium, if there are any locals or veterans of the tailgating scene for ASU baseball, feel free to drop us some of the ground rules in the comments section below. We would hate to show up and start to tailgate assuming something is allowed, i.e. glass bottles, only to find out it is a big time no-no there. No matter what, keep up to date on the progress of this tailgating trip by following Tailgating Ideas on Twitter. Mid-Week Eye Candy Wrapper #27: Ashlynn Brooke Edition

In honor of the Oklahoma Sooners getting invited to play in the Big XII championship this weekend (sorry Texas and Texas Tech) I thought it would be appropriate to include a photo of an OU fan. Thankfully you won’t be seeing Toby Keith here under that criteria. It was a toss up between Jesse Jane and Ashlynn Brooke. Both ladies are from Oklahoma and currently call the Sooner State their home. Both ladies are incredibly hot. If you Google both ladies, expect quite a few NSFW images and links to come back as well. By virtue that we already brought you a gallery of Jesse Jane back in July, it would be only fair to share with you the lovely and talented Ashlynn Brooke.
