Win Cash Just For Tailgating

On The Border SoupTailgating can get expensive depending on how hard core you are and if you go all out. Between parking fees, food and beverages, gas to get to the stadium, the cost of a grill, chairs, tables and everything else, tailgating can take a chunk from your wallet. Apparently On The Border wants to put some cash back in your pocket by offering the On The Border Tailgater’s Souper Bowl photo contest. Each week through the end of the football season (February 2008), On The Border will select 3 winners, 1st ($250), 2nd ($150) and 3rd ($100) for the best tailgating photo submitted. If your photo is the best of the year, you could walk away with $1,000 as the grand prize winner.

On The Border is offering this contest and promotion to celebrate the launch of its newest soup offerings. Hence the name Tailgater’s Souper Bowl. Get it? Even if you don’t win one of the weekly prizes every participant that submits a photo will receive a free twin pack of On The Border Soups. (Chicken Tortilla Soup and Chicken Chowder Southwest Style Soup.)

Here’s the catch: Your submitted photo must include you and the rest of your tailgate party tailgating with On The Border products. (Come on, you thought they were just giving away free money because they have too much of it?) They offer chips, dips, drink mixes, salsas, frozen foods and now soups so it won’t be hard to find something for your next tailgating menu. Although the contest does state you need to have a minimum of one On The Border products in your picture, we are willing to bet the more On The Border products visible, the better your chances of winning a prize. Call us cynical but that is just a hunch. We’re not going to tell you how to take your picture but making sure the labels face the camera is also probably a good idea too.

Once you have your photo taken and you are ready to enter the contest, submit your photo online at the On the Border Tailgater Contest web page. If you are going to go through the effort to enter the contest, make sure to read the rules and regulations before submitting your photo.

Good luck and if you win a weekly prize or even the grand prize, feel free to share with us here at TailgatingIdeas.com We could always use an extra Drill Blender.
