Mid-Week Eye Candy Wrapper #68: Vanessa Marrero Edition

Posted by Dave On October - 22 - 2009

You can call it sucking up, kissing butt or just flat out appreciation for a man’s work, but I have to give up some respect to Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated. Jimmy runs Hot Clicks that runs weekdays on the SI.com Extra Mustard section. Hot Clicks is a round-up of the day’s best posts the blogosphere has to offer that day. Whether it be funny lists, the latest pop culture nugget or even some good old fashioned sports trivia, Jimmy finds the good stuff and links out to it. It’s kind of like this segment but much better with a lot less stuff about tailgating. (Recently Jimmy was kind enough to find our Top 15 Most Quotable Movies list worthy of a link and we enjoyed quite a large traffic day on Tuesday.) He also is a big fan of attractive women and posts a photo of some eye-candy at the top of each edition of Hot Clicks. Last Friday he introduced us all to Vanessa Marrero, a senior advertising major at Florida International University who was also named Sports Illustrated’s Cheerleader of the Week. So hats off to Jimmy for all he does and if you are on Twitter, you should follow him. Links follow the eye-candy…

As an alum of UMBC, which is known for many things but certainly not our proud tailgating tradition, imagine my surprise at seeing us mentioned in this week’s links.
