To look at the sheer volume of tailgating videos appearing on YouTube, you would think tailgating prior to a College Spring Football Intrasquad game was more popular that baseball tailgating. These people are tailgating what essentially is a practice.

Either way, here is a video of a few guys tailgating and playing beer pong prior to the University of Central Florida Spring Football game. (Anyone else agree that the Requiem For a Dream theme music bedded throughout the video makes it a bit more creepy than a game of beer pong needs to be?)

You know LSU football fans are passionate about two things; their Tigers and their tailgating. (Check out their comments regarding my Tailgating Bucket List and you’ll surely agree.) So it is no wonder why thousands of LSU football fans showed up at Tiger Stadium to tailgate prior to the Spring Football Game.

Baton Rouge sports reporter Chris Gordy grabbed a microphone and a cameraman to gain perspective on why everyone was tailgating prior to a meaningless game. Anyone else think Gordy’s interview style is a combination of if Art Mann and Frank Nicotero had a love child?

Apparently the folks out in Philly must have gotten a few video cameras over the winter because I came across two videos of note from the Phillies Opening Day. They feature hot blond girls trying to hula hoop in the parking lot before the Phillies game. Yes, you read that correctly. Hot blondes tailgating. What else do you want?

Spring has sprung and that means one thing for tailgaters. College football spring games provide an excellent excuse to go out and tailgate like it’s October or November. I came across this video of a game of beer pong prior to the Florida State Spring Football game. Apparently the secret to winning at beer pong is to bring in a ringer. That ringer? Granny.

Even though this video does not contain any footage of actual tailgating, I still felt compelled to share it. Apparently a college football tailgater failed to clean out his cooler and left it sitting in his basement for over six months. He then attempts to clean it out while his wife or girlfriend (not sure what relation she is to the guy) films the whole ordeal. Use this as an example to make sure you always take proper care of your tailgating gear. Don’t be this guy.

(Just be careful watching this if you have a weak stomach and the sound of someone gagging and puking bothers you.)

I came across this video of a tailgating game called Cool Toss. From what I can gather it looks like a bastardized version of cornhole using cooler tops instead of game boards with holes in them. Apparently the creators of this game rolled out the coolers before the Baltimore Orioles opening day at Camden Yards, gathered a crowd, offered up some free beer and rolled the old video camera. They even have a website as you might have guessed, CoolToss.com.
