Santa Claus is a Tailgater

Yep, the Jolly Fat Man loves his tailgating. Don’t believe me? Well how do you explain…
- Have you seen the beer belly on the guy?
- He likes the Porta Potty. I mean have you every heard your toilet flush on Christmas Eve night? The jolly fat guy has to be be “going” some where!
- With an army of elves at his disposal, he has no problems getting the best of the best tailgating games.
- The man is from the North Pole. He’s just gotta be a fan of the Frozen Tundra.
- In a single evening he cosumes like a billion glasses of milk and plates of cookies. For an eating pro like him it’s an easy switch to ribs, sausage, burgers, and beer.
- I don’t recall ever seeing a fee for sleigh parking…Free Parking in the lot!
- When you travel from the North Pole to the USA it shows that there is no rush to get back to the wife. Time for a post-game tailgate!
- The old line, “Come sit on Santa’s lap” makes him the best wing man ever with the ladies! Though I am not sure how well the “Ho, Ho, Ho” line will go over with the opposite sex!
- If you see him in your lot, you know your team has a chance this year. Santa doesn’t visit the bad teams (sorry Rams, Lions, and Browns!)

Bear Pong – Super Sized Beer Pong

This new tailgating game is called BearPong. It is an over-sized game of beer pong that uses buckets and large bouncy balls instead of a table, cups and ping pong balls. Also, BearPong does not necessarily require drinking. If you want to incorporate drinking all you do is just drink from the beverage in your hand. That way there is no way for parking lot authorities to crack down on the game because it is not directly tied to the consumption of alcohol. Take a look at their video they put together.
As you can see in the video, it is easy to play because about 95% of tailgaters already know the rules to beer pong. Bear Pong closely follows those rules with several key changes. The most important being that you no longer need a table to play. Also you don’t have to drink beer out of cups after a bunch of other people already have.

Looking To Interview Charitable Tailgaters

You may recall last month I put out the call to interview tailgaters for an upcoming article I was writing for Tailgater Monthly Magazine. (That article has since been published and you can read it HERE) Well, I am back at it again and this time I want to interview tailgaters who give back to their communities. That’s right, tailgaters or tailgating groups who give to charities on a regular basis and make it a part of their tailgating traditions. I want to talk to you.
Does your tailgating crew collect toys for tots around Christmas time? Do you and your fellow tailgaters collect canned goods and donate them to your local food bank? Does your tailgating group raise money to fight breast cancer? Those are just a few examples of the types of tailgaters I would be interested in interviewing. If your tailgating group does more than drink beer and create a scene, I want to talk to you.
