radio_row.jpgA big thanks to the guys at Between the Lines with Kevin Kietzman on Sports Radio 810 WHB in Kansas City for getting me into Radio Row for Super Bowl week. The guys will have me on their show on Thursday, January 31, 2008 to provide an update on the status on the Super Bowl Tailgating Petition. While in Phoenix I will be working radio row in an attempt to drum up more exposure and media interest in the petition. You never know what radio stations will be broadcasting and which ones will be sympathetic to this cause. You may be hearing a lot more about this on the radio in the next few days so keep your ears open and glued to your local sports radio station.

Play Cornhole In The Dark With Lumipic Board Overlays

January 26, 2008 in Tailgating Games, Tailgating Gear

You love to play Cornhole while tailgating. The only downside to Cornhole is that playing at night is a bit difficult for obvious reasons. What if there was a way to play Cornhole after the sun went down? Now you can. A new company called Lumipic has created illuminated overlays that fit on your existing Cornhole boards. These lighted board overlays come in a number of colors including red, blue, yellow, orange, green and pink. These overlays use Electroluminescent technology, otherwise known as EL, to generate the light and in essence makes your Cornhole set “glow”. The science of it all is a bit over our heads but the bottom line is you can now play Cornhole in the dark while you are waiting for the parking lot to empty out. How cool is that?

The guys over at Lumipic put together a short video showcasing their illuminated Cornhole overlay and put it up on YouTube.

The Lumipic Cornhole board overlays cost $149.99 and are available HERE. If you don’t already have a Cornhole set, we recommend getting your own from Cornhole.com.
