What a great product to stumble across! I really enjoy checking the site out. I just have one question where do you keep the drinks in this cooler. It doesn’t look like you can put any ice in there with all the electrical wiring.

You are correct, the BoomCooler is not approved for wet storage. The original product description page lays it all out on the specifics of the electronics and what can and can not go in the BoomCooler. There is room for dry storage such as a bag of chips but because of the potential of those items heating up from the heat the electronics give off, you may want to implement caution. The motto of the BoomCooler is to tell your friends, “they’ll bring the drinks, you’ll bring the party”.

I’m not sold on this thing, seems a “boom box” would do the same thing and is way cheaper!

PI – You are correct. The BoomCooler is not intended for wet storage. The official product page has many more details and specs on this unit including the disclaimer you can not transport ice or other wet items inside.
